“Mary and Boy Jesus” background was painted by Jake Pinello, and Amy Wilsted portrayed Mary and Jake Wilsted portrayed the boy Jesus in this living picture. It was first used in the 2010 Boulder Colorado Stake Women’s Conference and will be used in the Stake’s 40th Anniversary celebration, “Savior, Redeemer – Legacies of Discipleship,” an Evening of Beauty and Inspiration,” on Nov. 2, 2013, at 701 W. South Boulder Road, Louisville, Colo. Angie Branch directed both events.

‘Play in a Day’ at Boulder Stake Center

The Coal Creek Ward (congregation) performed an original play inspired by “Beauty and the Beast” and the topic of Sabbath Day observance from the “For the Strength of Youth” Church pamphlet on Sat., March 17, 2012, at the Boulder Stake Center, 701 W. South Boulder Road, Louisville, Colo.

Youth ages 12 to 18 years old of the Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints participated in Play in a Day. They planned original plays, gathered and made props, and performed their plays. The bulk of the work was done in one day on Sat., March 17, 2012.
